My Opinion I have owned this GPS for 2 years and we've taken while traveling in Alaska, Hawaii, VA, FL, Maine (all Americans). He continued to work very well. I have not updated the software / maps for sale, but they never lost.

William E. Richardson, Jr. ( Wilmington, NC USA ) At first I thought it was a good product. For the huge price discount offered by Amazon, I was sure I had done a good buy. That all changed a week ago - a touch screen suddenly stopped working. Has not been dropped or damaged in any way. It has never been left in direct sunlight - always stored where it is locked in a car or house, but has simply stopped working. The soft reset does nothing to solve this problem and Garmin refuses to repair or renew the drive (without significant costs involved) because the warranty period is over (less than a month, I might add). Apparently, this problem is very common, but still no support from Garmin. My advice ... Stay away from the touch screen, if you are looking for reliable unit.

S. Meka ( Boston, MA USA ) Nuvi 660 has stopped working within a year. Nuvi 660 NA LCD Touch Sensor is not working. I spent more than $ 450 on Amazon.com. E 'as a savings wiped months within a year. I do not recommend Garmin products because of their poor quality. They may have many products. But quality counts. They are not nearly as Sony in terms of quality.

Rajni Sharma ( USA ) I bought the Garmin Nuvi660 little over a year earlier. The GPS is excellent, but I had problems with the installation of an early stage. It 'hard to stick to the glass and although I can not do everything down after a few minutes. I wish Garmin would make good accessories that the main product.
