Just used my Nuvi 275 to London and I must say I was very disappointed with it operating in pedestrian mode. First you need a very long time (> 5 min) to block when you exit the tube (subway), even in an open space. According to the pedestrian route ways that we can not establish a one way street (sidewalks, are not one-way). Then you have the handles, which works very well in a car, but a very long way to walk in circles. I could not find a way to release a way to do it calcuate re-route. The radar was another pain. In pedestrian mode, the radar would go off several times, this means that he could not see the map with the warning that occurred every time he moved.

To find out how it was a long journey that had to go to the list and add the distances of direction (which has a pop-up that gives the distance, but is too fast to see). Battery life is about 2-3 hours. Not good for a visit to museums and dinner. Finally, I realized that I had a paper of dollars and could see the photos. Wow I put my photos into folders organized perfectly only to find that the Nuvi does not understand a folder! Had only one large cluster of images in preview mode moves very slowly.

I wonder if someone at Garmin has used this product in Europe. Preloaded map of Europe was one reason why I bought this GPS. One point is that fares well with a USB charger that can be a PC, the Apple iPod Charger, Motorola Cell Phone Charger or BB. In order not to carry a charger specific to this GPS. So, Buyer Beware!

Bought this product specifically for a trip to Europe. He worked hard until one day I decided to use it in pedestrian mode, in Florence. After that day the drive boot-up. It would cycle through the map loading screen and reboot constantly, maybe 20-40 minutes until, finally, it would load the maps. Big pain in the back!

Not sure what caused this problem. The battery has run out of juice at the pedestrian mode, but I hope this is not the problem. When I returned to the United States, which I connected to my computer, Fixed some problems with disk and import new maps. Seems to have solved the problem, but I doubt I'll ever use the pedestrian mode again.

Recently took my Nuvi 275T for England and Poland on the road. Thanks to its compact size, the nüvi 275T and accessories pack very easily into a carry-on luggage. Early acquisition of the satellite takes a minute or less. I used the optional Garmin friction mount that I found very convenient as you play, essentially, on the dashboard. While some might want a larger screen, I found the screen from 3.5 "ideal in approximately 1,000 miles of driving. The contrast and legibility of images and texts are excellent. I downloaded some POI files before leaving for my travel. Transferring files on a PC and a Mac is simple and I was able to use the archives to find some places in the United Kingdom.

It works perfectly with the characteristics given - which is not exactly what I was looking for - but for the price determined, are fabulous business. I'm losing the function of an MP3 player, but I really need av maps of Europe and is great. Bargain. Unlike good feature I found is that the tunnel in Boston, he worked for 2-3 minutes, while I was underground, and then, finally, the loss of signal, but somehow the software recognized the tunnel and not worry about the satellite lost every 5 seconds.
