Ahmad A. Usmani I had my TomTom for over a year. I downloaded a map for Europe and put information about Tom in a 4 gig SD card. The trip was perfect. I managed to find attractions, shops, restaurants .... made me into a room ... almost. I think the most beautiful characteristics of Tom is the interface. You do not have to return to the previous page to access the menu functions such as Garmin and although the display may be a bit 'too strong, it is quite bright. Garmin does not look bright. The voice works very well. I had George W drive me to Rome, alternating with John Cleese.

The first item that I ordered from Amazon was defective. I do not open it until Christmas, but I promptley email Amazon about the return of the voice, and replied in less than an hour on Christmas Day! I tried everything to fix my car, but still had no luck. So, after having contacted Amazon who went to a new day for the next. I can not say enough about customer service from Amazon. The best! I do not think it was the fault of the TomTom or Amazon to send me a disk died. I think that things do happen. However, if I have an 'other unit bad or if there have been reports of more units of evil, then it would be another story.
Ok, now for the review. I installed the TomTom Home software on my mac. Easy easy. So I called TomTom and an update of the device. So I tried to do things that required the cellular connection. I tried to compare the gas. Worked great. I used this unit for over two weeks and I must say that it worked almost perfectly. First the bad. A Google search takes a long time. I'm so used to having the search results fast, so when I say that its slow, probably a couple of minutes. But it feels like a time, if everything is waiting for her. Spontaneously once the device is restarted. It's not that big of a deal, since the loads on the route / directions again, but if you're in the middle of a curve or something that could be complicated. The reboot was fast and did so only once. A morning and evening, the Google search did not work.

The device for cellular coverage had already tested the function of the price of gas. My complaint is the latest Bluetooth speaker seems a bit 'low. I tried to increase the volume of the device, but then the word is very high. I can not find a way to increase your call volume. Its adequate but any long conversations that could be a problem. Now, the positives. I like maps and interface. I'm used to Tom so I like to feel comfortable. I love the search features of gas prices. Trafficking of major works in Northern Virginia / Washington, DC. Its cool says that traffic is the delay before reaching the traffic. Moreover, automatically adds the time. Moreover, it will also let you know that even with the traffic this is the fastest way. I like the routing of the IQ. It was found that I got broken and is actually faster. I like that my phone is connected. Voice Command works very well. I like the look of the device. The window mount is very easy to connect and when you take the GPS out of the Assembly do not have to disconnect the power cord connects to the mountain.
Overall I am happy with the device. It does its core function of giving directions really really well! Awesome! However if you are buying this for Google Search, or the bluetooth phone part(fine for short conversations, but not long ones) you might want to reconsider. I like looking up the weather too.

Rambo Reviewer I love this GPS - it is very high quality and offers excellent routing options. Traffic conditions are downloaded in minutes and are very accurate. Google search is an excellent option, and find every single location. I advise you to buy (on Garmin hands down).

JK ( washington, dc ) I bought a Live 740, after owning a series of Tom Tom 900. I like the GPS, but the traffic service is truly terrible. Is unable to handle the traffic conditions of the city. There will be many times the city streets for the accounting route congestion during peak hours. In addition, he is unable to manage the roads have different traffic patterns during peak hours. We have some streets are one way during peak hours. Tom Tom does not recognize / perceive it.
