EJW ( Ft Campbell KY ) After reading everybody else's reviews of this product I was still a little skeptical about it; but, I ordered it anyway. I am sooo glad I did! This thing is awesome. I haven't been able to get it to budge yet, and I've tried. Unless you're driving an Indy car I would recommend this mount for anybody.

Bernard DeSantis ( So. Calif. ) Bought this to mount my Tom Tom. I have a dash mat covering and it works perfect. Does not move on rug surface. Would definitely recommedn this product.

SaltiDawg I received my mount yesterday and mounted my three year old Magellan Roadmate to the mount on my Dodge Van. The curve of the dash did not allow very much direct contact with the mount, but it holds just fine. The Magellan held just fine to the mount on a five mile trip.
This morning I went out to the car to find the GPS on the floor of the car. The temperature last night here in Maryland was in the upper 20s. I cleaned the suction cup with alcohol and also cleaned the smooth mounting surface on the mount. The suction cup will not grip the mount in my cold van.
I purchased the mount because the GPS kept falling off my windscreen. It appears that the actual problem is/was the suction cup is no longer working well. (Don't see how to buy one separately.)
I like the mount - and in fact I'm going to super Glue the suction cup to the mount.
