This is a wonderful little machine. And 'the basic number 800, which means it has the same engine as the more expensive units, with some of the bells and whistles, and still has all that is necessary and important. E 'highly accurate and fast. I love the feature that remembers where you left the car when I take him out of his cradle and guide me well for my car if I need. When I go to a place in a mall or a large complex, like a hospital that I can keep the exact location of where they are and that instead of using an address that can sometimes be vague.
For example, when I visit a major hospital here with various items, which will take me right to the parking lot I chose to do in a library. The voice recognition works very well. I never touch the unit to perform any of the many options available to me. For example, while I drive I can drive through voice activated commands to take me to the nearest Burger King, Hampton Inn, both as standard or as a new destination.
I believe that the volume of the unit enough, but I prefer to hear the directions through my car's audio system. Since my FM antenna is located on the back of the car's FM GPS device does not work very well. I bought one of these little FM transmitters, and is connected to the audio output of the GPS and it works very well. If you have an audio input for your car's FM transmitter, simply connect the GPS directly to it. All in all, I am very happy with this unit and am happy to recommend to anyone interested in adding a GPS system for your car, or replace an older unit like me.

I got this GPS for my husband's birthday b / c is a businessman and always go to a new house every other day. Not think that there would be no need, but the day before he used it absolutely loved it. He said it was perfect for him and he uses every day. He said that voice commands are the best part b / c that does not need to stop and play with the GPS.

We were in downtown Pittsburgh, and this unit was more confused than us. Was to inform us that we were in streets that were not. Speech recognition is a difficult time, especially with the noise of the street. It works well when the road noise and ambient noise, another is low. When it is pretty useless.
