I had the nuvi 775T on 12/21/09, and was very excited. My enthusiasm began to run when I noticed that the device took too long to recalculate, sometimes up to a minute and a half. After recalculation, the stats give wrong information and street names wrong. What's left of my enthusiasm was crushed when 2 days later (01/02/10), he was giving me the direction, with a street name wrong (it was instructions to make a right turn in "Flatbush Avenue" in "Kings Plaza, there's nothing like" Street Kings Plaza or boulevard, a street name is "Avenue U). I was upset, and when I turn right on Avenue U, the unit is off. You do not know what to do with this device now, and from what I read, the Garmin customer service is so terrible as this unit.

My wife and I used this product in Hawaii, Berlin, Dresden, Vienna and Budapest. It can be a lifesaver when navigating small towns and hard to find places. The only to pull back the product is the inability to get to the main menu options, for example, you should push back, back, to return to the main menu ...

I recently bought the Garmin 775T before I took the liberty to drive in Ireland and has been a lifesaver. The instructions are clear and the browser has a lot of time before I had to turn to. I found the UI to be intuitive enough and on par with other Garmin units I have used in the past. This is just a car charger, but the charge for at least a couple of hours of use (full load) when leaving the car. If you need to go around with this unit, you may need to buy a wall charger. Although there are many units to choose from, this was the only one that worked (out of the box), Europe and the United States (with all the features I wanted). I have GPS in the car (in the U.S.) and various other units used over the years, but the Garmin 775T is by far the best nav system I've used.

This review is specifically for Garmin nuvi 775T. This is the third GPS I've had for many years and each model is improved significantly over the other and prices are much less than the increase in demand. I purchased this model in particular because it was Europe together with North America and we decided that we could take on trips abroad and in-car use and walking. I think this is the GPS so that if you're trying to get a combo drive with NA and Europe. If you only need to North America, then you can drop down a couple of levels and save $ 100 or more. Just choose a nuvi with a minimum screen 4.3 "and will not be disappointed.
