We love our Garmin nuvi 1350. He never again! He arrived in good time and made our journey of 800 miles with it. . . only lost one position and that was a restaurant that turned out to be good, though! You have found a good restaurant in Tallahassee, FL did not, not to mention make our destination 800 miles from home, even the front door! We love, we started to use it in town, here at home! "She" is part of the family. . . called "her" Jill ", because the voice of" her "USA!

Great little GPS. These small GPS, works better than the highly expensive that come with the car in those days. Including the fact that you can update them online for free. Car dealers for their improvement.

Garmin has a real problem with the Nuvi 1350-for any reason. I visited the site and downloaded the Garmin software to solve the problem of shut-down and has not worked. On a recent trip to Florida 3000mi round, I made an average of 10 interruptions per day. When I got home, I reloaded the software to correct this problem (for the second time). It took a long journey since then, I do not know if it is fixed. Be aware of before you buy! Garmin used to make bullet-proof GPS devices, like my StreetPilot 2720. I'm not sure I would have bought another Garmin.

The Nuvi 1350 has nice features and a good price but it will not connect to the computer to register or get downloads. It does not come with the cable needed to connect to the computer so you have to buy one. When connecting to the computer it is supposed to go into mass storage mode. The 1350 will sometimes not connect at all and sometimes connect and go into mass storage mode for 1 to 4 seconds before disconnecting. I know it is not a computer or cable problem because my son's Nuvi 205 connects without fail using the same computer and cable. No matter how many times I try, the 1350 has never connected for a usable length of time and I have even rebooted the 1350. I exchanged it for another 1350 and the new one does the exact same thing. The features and price are attractive, I paid $170, but if it will not connect, the product can not get software updates or new maps and you can't download pictures to it. Since I got two 1350's that have this same problem I have concluded that the Nuvi 1350 is a piece of junk!
